Bryce7 Illustrations

Experiments in Bryce7, an obsolete modeler and renderer meant for creating terrains. Most of these are concepted in the program itself through trial and error, though I will attach early images to those I had sketches for.

I enjoy utilizing this program for illustrations since it has a specific ‘look’ to it that’s hard to explain. Even with higher resolution models and additional lights, the final images feel less realistic compared to scenes made in other, more modern renderers. This, I feel, makes the art have a particular surrealistic quality that I enjoy seeing in 3D artwork.

Commissioned Work

These three renders were done for a client looking for a set of mysterious, mirage-like images for the beginning of their streams. They wanted the scenes to feel liminal and abandoned.
